LAMB SIGN CO. has been serving Asheville since 1976. We are a full-service sign shop, providing a wide range of services including sandblasted and CNC routed wood signs, plasma cut steel signs, and stone masonry accents. Our team works closely with clients from initial consultation to design, fabrication, permitting, and installation. We also offer additional services such as vinyl cutting for windows and vehicles, banners, architectural letters, stamps, trophies, and more. With our 30' boom crane, we can install and service signs that are out of reach for an extension ladder.

Architectural Signs

Our architectural signs incorporate elements of a structure to complement the place they identify. These signs use multimedia such as masonry in the base, metal or cedar wood faces that make the graphics dimensional. We prefer the use of real wood signs for their natural strength, warmth, and resistance to impact damage. However, we also work with high-density urethane (HDU) as an alternative.

Sandblasted & Routed Dimensional Signs

Our in-house equipment includes an industrial level air compressor with a high-capacity blasting machine and two CNC cutting machines. This allows us to create custom wood signs with remarkable results, including wood textures that make your sign come alive. We offer sandblasting services to our contemporaries and treat your signs with the same level of care and quality as our own.

Metal Signs

We create metal signs with precision using our PlasmaCAM. Metal signs can incorporate new metals with polished, machined, or smooth finishes, and we can combine them with older metal sign elements exhibiting a natural aged patina.

Banners

Banners offer the ability to present a message in a variety of places and situations for a reasonable price. They can be installed almost anywhere.

Magnetic Signs

Magnetic signs are perfect for vehicles and can be removed when not in use. We typically make them in pairs starting from $75.00.

Vinyl

Vinyl can be applied to a variety of surfaces, including glass, MDO composites, plastics, and vehicles. It is very cost efficient and easy to work with.

Our Story

Jimmy Lamb, the founder, was raised in Asheville and has been making wood signs since 1976. He loves incorporating realistic paintings into his signs and metal working. Jimmy is a classic car enthusiast and drives some of his Ford cars and trucks. He met his wife, Elizabeth, in 1993, and together they started adding stonework to their signs. Elizabeth also enjoys creating wire wrapped jewelry with sterling silver.
