Linson Signs, a family-owned business, was established in Bishop, California in October 1964 by Frankie Linson and his father, Weldon Linson. Originally known as Linson & Son Sign Company, the business was created after the Linson's purchased King Sign Company. In 1989, Frank moved his family to the Central Coast where he worked for John Allen Sign Company. In 1993, he purchased the sign company from John Allen and established Linson Signs. Frank, his son Kevin, and stepson Jason, manufacture a wide variety of signs at Linson Signs.
Karen, Frank's wife, works as the Office Manager, handling clerical and bookkeeping tasks, allowing Frank to focus on the manufacturing side of the business. In February 2014, the business moved to a larger 3200 sq. ft. shop, allowing the team to work in any weather element, especially in the rain.
